Kronos 100 / 200

Automatic Spreading Machine

The Kronos spreader is offered in both the Kronos 100 and Kronos 200 versions.  Both machines offer the same high quality construction, advanced standard features and options.  The Kronos 200 is a larger machine that offers a higher weight capacity than the Kronos 100 (450 pound roll capacity compared to 225 pounds).

The Kronos spreader line features a revolutionary design and performance that assures excellent spreading quality, thanks to the electronic fabric feeding system and antistatic inclined plane.  This model offers a standard automatic cradle tilt for faster loading and unloading operations for rolls up to a robust 450 pounds.  Other standard features include the adjustable edge control for front edge alignment, automatic stop at empty cradle, variable speed two way cutting and an electronic dancer bar for tension free spreading.  The machine even has an automatic lift system on the cutter to suit the thickness of material being spread.

The Kronos uses a fully programmable touch screen operator interface that is mounted to an adjustable ergonomic console.  This screen allows for easy programming of the spreader, including the insertion of step lays with up to 20 markers and up to 25 different rolls.  In addition, the strategically placed rational control panel allows the operator to activate essential functions (stop, cut, threading and rewinding) without removing a hand from the speed throttle.

The electornics systems incorporated into the Kronos are the most advanced available in the industry today.  In addition to the step lays settings and rational control panel, the programmable  operator interface sets the variable spreading speed, blade rotation speed, real time controls for the modification of spreading data and material consumption.  The machine even offers a memory for 10 stored fabrics and the default spreading settings.
