Model 87 Varispeed
Maimin is proud to introduce our newest line of state of the art cutting equipment. The new Model 87 Varispeed machine utilizes a high efficiency DC motor with a variable speed controller that is easily adjustable by turning a simple knob. The speed control will allow the operator to adjust the blade speed from the full 1500 rpm down to just a few rotations per minute.
The Model 87 is a precision-made straight line cutter with a 7 inch blade designed to cut all material types, from natural to hard materials such as neoprene and vinyl. The Model 87 is designed to operate 10 hours per day, every day for years.
Versions:
The Model 87 Varispeed is available in the standard version and the Cyclone version. The Model 87 Varispeed Cyclone is geared way down for a much slower blade speed and much more torque. This version is ideal for cutting rubber, fiberglass, carbon fiber and other dense materials and synthetics.
Options:
Slitter Option: By removing the lower portion of the standard, and replacing it with a steel support behind the blade, the slitter allows easy cutting of hard or semi-rigid materials like carpeting, fiberglass, rubber or plastics.
Blade Wiper / Lubricator: The blade wiper / lubricator continuously releases a thin film of lubrication onto the blade to prevent burning, fusing or build-up of material when cutting synthetics or other industrial fabrics.
Blade Scraper: Helps regid and dense material pass the gap between the blade and standard or slitter support.
Lucite Blade Guard: A blade guard that protects the front and side of the blade. The front lucite portion is adjustable for different lay heights.
